Mark is the Founder of DesRoches & Company, established in 1988, and he has worked as a Certified Public Accountant for more than 36 years. Mark’s practice concentration is in serving high-net-worth individuals and their related businesses and investments with tax compliance and planning. He specializes in serving as advisor and tax specialist to local area real estate related entities and as a subject matter expert in many real estate related topics. Mark serves as Certified Public Accountant for hundreds of local small business, providing annual tax and accounting services.  

 

Mark has developed the largest Common Interest Reality Association (CIRA) tax and auditing practice in Hampton Roads and has been named “Super CPA” by Virginia Business Magazine, which recognizes the “best of the best” of the CPA profession. He has served as guest speaker and coordinator of numerous educational programs for Southeastern Chapter of the Community Association Institute. Mark has been named to the Hall of Fame for the Southeastern Chapter of the Community Association Institute.

 

Mark is also involved in the Qualified Opportunity tax incentive program, working with clients to implement their projects and facilitate financing arrangements.
